Evergreen GP Surgery Website
As part of my Digital Skills & IT Skills Level 2 Project, I created a web-page using Wix.
Set a client brief, I created a page that was colourful and in-line with healthcare branding principles, creating trust with the user and utilising a familiar style interface to allow accessibility.
I dove into research for healthcare branding and found evidence to support my decision in a Blue colour interface as it has been shown to be a less stressful colour compared to other colours such as orange.
It was a collaborative project and my role was to collate and showcase information clearly, incorporating data through visuals and text.
I carefully built the website architecture making sure navigation was simple and relevant information was contained in groups. I used visual cues such as medical imagery to highlight the subject of the page allowing for non-native speakers to easily identify which area they needed.
Research, Planning and Further Development:
1. Statistics
Utilising open-source data and calling from an API we can show and analyse the latest statistics showing them in an easy to read graphic output.
2. Guidance
This section of the app provides up-to-date guidance.
Information will be displayed clearly using graphics, interactive page design and information flows such as click through flowchart to make for easy comprehension.
3. Advice
Advice section utilises illustrational videos, with the graphic style matching the app interface for cohesion.
4. Co-V AI Assistant
Utilising AI Technology within the app such as for customer service, streamlining vaccination bookings will allow us to reduce pressure on the GP surgery and reduce calls for daily questions.
Additionally, this can be expanded further to within the GP surgery and can be used to offer basic medical advice for patients and then allow patients to book GP appointments directly.
Technology:
The app would utilise React Frameworks allowing for greater flexibility and integration of other technologies.
We can utilise open-source data with GitHub Rest API.
Using JavaScript language gives us versatility in development and build a cross-platform app. It is highly compatible with different browsers and offers fast development speed.
